  • It is allowed to engage employees in work during the public holidays only in specific cases as provided by Article 66 of the Labour Law: “It shall be allowed to engage specific employees in work during the public holidays in the following cases: to prevent or eliminate a natural disaster, a failure in production or to liquidate their consequences without delay; to prevent accidents, damages or destruction of property; to perform urgent contingent tasks if the regular operation of the whole enterprise, institution or organisation or their separate entities depend on the immediate performance of the said tasks; to perform urgent loading and unloading operations, as well as related transport operations, thus preventing or eliminating the idle time of means of transport and the accumulation of cargoes at the points of dispatch and destination”.
    ومن المسموح به تشغيل العمال أثناء العطلات الرسمية في حالات خاصة نصت عليها المادة 66 من قانون العمل: "يسمح بتشغيل بعض العمال أثناء العطلات الرسمية في الحالات التالية: لمنع وقوع كارثة طبيعية أو تخفيف آثارها، عند توقف الإنتاج أو لتصفية آثاره دون تأخير؛ لمنع وقوع حوادث أو أضرار أو تدمير الممتلكات؛ لأداء أعمال طارئة مستعجلة إذا كان التشغيل المنتظم للمنشأة بأكملها أو للمؤسسة أو للمنظمة أو كياناتها التابعة لها يرتهن بأداء هذه المهام فوراً؛ لأداء عمليات الشحن والتفريغ العاجلة وما يتصل بها من عمليات النقل مما يمنع أو يقلل من الوقت الضائع في وسائل النقل وتراكم الشحنات في نقاط الإرسال وفي نقاط الاستقبال".
